COLUMBIA TUSCULUM

Alms Park, 710 Tusculum Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45226

Welcome to Columbia Tusculum!

Cincinnati’s oldest neighborhood, Columbia Tusculum was founded as the settlement of “Columbia” by Benjamin Stites, along with 26 settlers from New Jersey, in 1788. It even predated Losantiville (now Cincinnati) by a month!

Today, it is home to a number of beautiful ‘painted lady’ historical Victorian houses and some Cincinnati favorites such as The Precinct & Pearl’s.

Fun Fact: Columbia Tusculum is home to the first school in Hamilton County which was opened by John Reilly in 1790. It is also the site of the oldest continuously inhabited home in Hamilton County, built in roughly 1804.
