Welcome to Indian Hill!
Founded by Benjamin Stites during his purchase of land from Judge John Symmes in the 1780’s for a mere $0.66 an acre, Indian Hill has always been valued for it’s pristine forests and pristine waterways.
Today, the Village continues it’s interest in preserving and caring for it’s greenery. This has manifested into the green areas program, which, through purchase and gifts, has created an almost unbroken arc of greenery both around and through the village.
Fun Fact: Founded in 1925, The Camargo Hunt continues to be an Indian Hill tradition- focused on honing equestrian skill, foxhound training, and fox and coyote hunting.
