A wonderful combination of new and old, Milford boasts scenic views of the Little Miami River and plenty of local restaurants, shops and entertainment.
After being passed through a few hands, John Hageman purchased the area in 1806 and made a name as the first permanent settler. He called the area Hageman’s Mills which was later reduced to it’s nickname “Milford”.
Fun Fact: Milford hosts a large festival every year around the beginning of June called Frontier Days! This local tradition began over 60 years ago as a canoe race on the Little Miami. While the race no longer takes place, the festival remains a beloved event.
