MONTGOMERY

Swaim Park, 7650 Cooper Rd, Montgomery, OH 45242

Welcome to Montgomery!

Founded in 1795, Montgomery was known as a stopping point along the old “3-C” Highway, which went from Cincinnati to Columbus to Cleveland. Today, it is still easily accessible via I-275, I-71, Ronal Reagan and Montgomery Road.

The colorful landscape and tree filled neighborhoods creates a charming “Americana” feel, while the treasured Montgomery Heritage District shows off the historic community along with a number of dining, shopping and entertainment options.

Fun Fact: Montgomery is the home of world famous barbecue- Montgomery Inn. When the Inn first opened in 1951, it was actually not very well known for its food. So much so, that owner Ted Gregory’s wife Matula sent him to work with homemade meals. One day she sent barbecued ribs for him and his friends to have for supper, and the dish was so well received that they decided to start serving it on the menu.
