MT LOOKOUT

Ault Park, 5090 Observatory Circle, Cincinnati, OH 45208

Welcome to Mt Lookout!

Nestled between Hyde Park & Columbia Tusculum, Mt. Lookout offers a great neighborhood filled with plenty of local restaurants and tree lined streets for scenic walks.

Originally called Delta, this neighborhood used to consist mostly of vineyards. It wasn’t until the Cincinnati Observatory was moved here from Mt. Adams that the area was renamed. It is also home to the outstanding Ault Park, named for the couple who donated the initial 30 acres to get the park established in 1911. Today the park continues to thrive and plays host to a number of events.

Fun Fact: The Cincinnati Observatory is known as ‘The Birthplace of American Astronomy.’  It houses one of the oldest working telescopes in the world and was the first public observatory in the western hemisphere.
